• Account Information: Email address and password when you create an account via Supabase authentication.

• Health Metrics: Fasting logs, macro targets, calorie tracking data, and water intake.
• Kitchen Data: Pantry inventory, grocery lists, meal plans, and scanned product information.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage patterns, and session duration.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• Camera Data: Images captured for barcode scanning and meal analysis are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers unless explicitly saved by you.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide personalized AI-driven cooking recommendations and meal plans.
• To track and display your nutritional intake, fasting progress, and health metrics.
• To manage your pantry inventory and generate smart grocery lists.
• To process barcode scans and AI meal analysis through third-party services.
• To improve our AI models and enhance the user experience.
• To send optional push notifications (water reminders, fasting milestones).

3. Artificial Intelligence & Third-Party Services

NoChefAI utilizes third-party AI services (e.g., OpenAI) to generate meal plans, analyze food images, categorize groceries, and provide personalized cooking assistance. When you interact with these AI features:

• Text prompts and images you submit may be sent to these services for processing.
• Your health data is only processed to provide tailored dietary suggestions.
• Your data is not used to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.
• We use OpenFoodFacts (open-source) and other public APIs for barcode product lookups.

We also use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Authentication and data storage.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management and in-app purchase processing.
• Google AdMob: Displaying advertisements to free-tier users.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure) with industry-standard encryption both in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Local data is stored on your device using SharedPreferences and SQLite with platform-level encryption. We implement robust security measures to protect your Special Category Data (health-related information) in compliance with applicable regulations.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights:

• Right to Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Right to Rectification: Update or correct inaccurate personal data.
• Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your account and all associated data.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax compliance).

7. Children's Privacy

NoChefAI is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of NoChefAI after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
