Welcome to NoChefAI. By downloading, installing, or using the NoChefAI application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the NoChefAI App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. You must be at least 13 years old to use NoChefAI.

2. Description of Service

NoChefAI is an AI-powered kitchen management application that provides:

• AI-assisted cooking chat and recipe recommendations.
• Barcode scanning and food image analysis for nutritional data.
• Personalized meal plan generation.
• Intermittent fasting tracking with biological stage insights.
• Pantry inventory management and grocery list features.
• Macro and calorie tracking.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

3.1 Free Tier

NoChefAI offers a free tier with limited AI features (5 daily AI tokens), barcode scanning, pantry tracking, grocery lists, and basic fasting timer functionality. Free-tier users will see advertisements.

3.2 NoChefAI Pro

NoChefAI Pro is available via auto-renewing subscriptions at $4.99/month. The Pro subscription unlocks:

• Unlimited AI tokens and priority AI responses.
• AI Meal Plan Generator.
• Advanced biological metrics and fasting insights.
• Custom macro goals.
• Smart AI grocery import from recipe URLs.
• 6-month historical data trends.
• Ad-free experience.

3.3 Payment Terms

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You may manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.

4. AI-Generated Content

NoChefAI uses artificial intelligence (including OpenAI) to generate meal plans, recipe suggestions, nutritional analysis, and health insights. Please be aware:

• AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and should not replace professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice.
• AI responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies. Always verify critical nutritional or health information independently.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated meal plans or recommendations for your specific health conditions.
• If you have food allergies, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions, consult a healthcare professional before following any AI-generated advice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse NoChefAI or its AI services. Prohibited activities include:

• Submitting illegal, harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content to the AI chat.
• Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
• Using the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
• Creating multiple accounts to abuse the free-tier token system.
• Using automated scripts or bots to interact with the App.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms without notice.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, designs, and functionality of the NoChefAI App are owned by NoChefAI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NOCHEFAI AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO HEALTH ISSUES RESULTING FROM FOLLOWING AI-GENERATED DIETARY ADVICE.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, all your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Your continued use of NoChefAI after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
